Carlton Whisnant

Carlton Dennis Whisnant, 50, of Arcade, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at BJC Medical Center, following an extended illness.

He was the son of the late J.C. and Irene Mae Gaines Whisnant.

Survivors include brothers, Vernon Whisnant, Lawrenceville, and David Whisnant, Arcade; sisters, Jessie Reid and Judy Weathers, both of Gainesville.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 9, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Junior Lee and Bo Whisnant officiating. The body will be cremated.
