Louise Sargent

Louise Sargent, 81, of Blairsville, died Thursday, December 6, 2007, at her residence.

Mrs. Sargent was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Sargent; a son, Dennis Sargent; and two half-sisters.

Survivors include sons, Jimmy Sargent, Arcade, Donald Sargent, Winder; daughter, Judy Deyton, Blairsville; brothers, James Whisnant, Commerce, Marvin Whisnant, Arcade, J.E. Whisnant, Pendergrass; half-brothers, Ken Whisnant, Gainesville, Teddy Whisnant, Ray Whisnant; sister, Claudie Wallace, Commerce; half-sisters, Susie Grindle, Gainesville, Wanda Hart, Arcade; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 10, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Steve Whisnant and Bo Whisnant officiating.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
