Orelia Reba Whisnant Weaver

Reba W. Weaver, 92, passed away on Dec. 31, 2008, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Elizabeth Whisnant.

Interment will be in Cleveland Memorial Cemetery, Boiling Springs.

Mrs. Weaver was a 35-year member of Sharon Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and the world's greatest grandmother and great-grandmother.

She will be greatly missed by her two children, Roger Weaver and his wife, Linda, of Gastonia and Diane Hammon and husband, Kris, of Gastonia; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jeffery and Tonya Hammon, Roger Allen "Rusty" and Tracy Weaver Jr. and Phillip and Korina Hammon, as well as six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Weaver; son, James Larry Weaver; granddaughter, Angela Sue Weaver; brothers, Glenn, Blaine and Gunter "Doc" Whisnant; and sisters, Louise Camp and Euzulia Moore.
