Margaret Whisnant

LAWNDALE — Miss Margaret Frances Whisnant, 62, of 211 Bridges St., died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Born July 29, 1943, in London, England, she was a daughter of Woodrow Wilson Whisnant and Catherine Crowley Whisnant. She was a certified nurse’s assistant at Cleveland Regional Medical Center for 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Woodrow “Woody” Whisnant Jr. and wife, Dianne, of Shelby; a sister, Susan Pritchard and husband, Dick, of Waxhaw; three nephews, Kyle Pritchard, Marcus Whisnant and Lukus Whisnant; two nieces, Kathryn Bernaw and husband, Tom, and Sheila Whisnant; and a great-niece, Abigail Whisnant.

The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park
