Veva C. Whisnant
Mrs. Veva C. Whisnant, 92, of Shelby, N.C., died Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Lake Forrest Nursing Center.
Survivors include two sons, including Charles "Bud" Whisnant of Hampton, and two daughters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Polkville United Methodist Church, Polkville, N.C., with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the funeral service in the fellowship hall of the church.
