CLAYTON B. WHISNANT

MORGANTON - Clayton B. Whisnant, 41, died Aug. 2, 2000, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham after a period of declining health.

Born Aug. 30, 1958, in Burke County, he was a son of Wilma Bolay Whisnant of Morganton and the late James Clayton Whisnant.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a sister, Diana Webb of Mount Dora, Fla.

A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Riley at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Lutheran Church.

The family will remain at the church after the service.
