Marriage*She married Adam Whisonant, son of John Nicholas Whisenant and Mary Carpenter. 
Death*Charity Ettress died on 29 August 1851 in Lumpkin Co., GA, at age 80.1 
Burial*She was buried in Macedonia Bapt. Ch. Cem., Lumpkin Co., GA. 
Census*Charity Ettress appeared on the census of 1 June 1850 in Frogtown, Lumpkin Co., GA, age 75, in the household with daughter Jemima Thomas. Her listed place of birth is not very legible. 
Note*She eMail 2009-02-01 from Les Black concerning Charity and her son Henry: "Henry's middle name is Etris. I was told this by a relative now dead. I believe his mother Charity is Charity Etris, daughter of Henry Etters who decedents were closely linked to the Whisenant's who moved from York South Carolina to Habersham Georgia. I am basing this on Henry's middle name, time and location of Adam and Charity's marriage and on-going linkages with the Etris family continuing from York South Carolina and down into Georgia. And finally Charity was born in 1771 in Virginia and the Henry Etters family was in the Virginia at the time. It may coincidence that Charity is a daughter of another Palatine German family who removed from Virginia to York South Carolina and just so happened to name her second son after Henry Etters (Etris, Ettris, etc.)". Note: Based on this information alone I have placed Charity in the family of Henry Etters.

I was told in Sep 2012, by Judy Martin that Charity was listed in her father's will. I have not yet seen a copy of that will.
