This information comes from Roberta Williams Black, a daughter of Dorothy. 'About Ruth Hade: She says that Ruth was a school teacher on the Indian Reservation in Stuart, OK. She has a picture of Ruth. Now I will quote her: 'When Grandpa Bob (Robert William) was just a baby, his mother gave birth to a son and they died. His father left Grandpa (Robert William) at about 9-11 months old, at Ruth Hades to raise. He went to southern California and was supposed to have been active with the Santa Ana Race Track. He sent money but never made it back to get the child. There was a picture of his mother and father, name torn, with only the last part 'Harte' on the back of picture.' She goes on to say that her mother (Dorothy) always thought it was 'Ivanharte', but the grandmother (Cordia?) said no, that it was 'Ivoryheart' or 'Iv'llhart'. She also says that they had always thought that perhaps Ruth was not married and that Whisenhunt was her maiden name.
